This below is a microwave oven i made in Flash for my WIP Popcorn project. I used shape tools and before I figured out where the text tool was I used a mixture between the line tool and shape tool to make the numbers on them.
This an animated piece kernel popping into popcorn. I used a pencil tool to draw the kernel and the popcorn and then filled the empty spaces with a paint bucket. I used the same process as I did with my bouncing ball animation on a past post.

I have the above sequences ready to go.
These are good Ted, you need to attend to the timing, but I'm sure you will be able to do that.
